Alexia Nadirah

Alexia Nadirah is a Cypriot Oriental dancer, instructor, competition judge and festival director based in Nicosia. With more than two decades of experience in belly dance, she has developed her artistic style through continuous study with international master teachers and a strong connection to Middle Eastern music and movement. For more than fifteen years, Nadirah has participated in national and international dance festivals as a performer, guest teacher and judge. She has competed internationally, earning multiple awards and first-place results, and in recent years has expanded her work to festivals in Cairo, where she has performed repeatedly with live orchestras. Alongside her international activity, she remains an active performer and teacher in Cyprus, offering regular classes and workshops and performing at events, weddings, restaurants and television appearances. In 2022, she founded Alraqs Festival in Nicosia, an international belly dance festival dedicated to Oriental dance and Arabic culture. Through the festival, she brings local and international dancers together for workshops, gala performances, competitions and community events, while continuing to teach and perform herself.
