Working draft — not yet legally reviewed

This text is a starting point written for the Raqs Atlas platform. Because the site will handle memberships, payments and user-generated content, a qualified lawyer should review and adapt it before launch.

Our material

Encyclopedia entries, articles, the Raqs Atlas name and the design of the platform belong to Raqs Atlas or the contributors credited on each page. You may link to pages and quote briefly with clear attribution; systematic copying or republishing requires permission.

Your material

You keep the rights to photos, videos, music and text you upload. You grant us the licence needed to host and display it on the platform and to promote the platform. You confirm you hold the necessary rights, including for any music used in videos.

Music, film and archive material

We link to licensed sources for songs and recordings rather than hosting copies. Historical images are used with attribution where possible; if you hold rights to material we have used, contact us and we will credit or remove it.

Selling digital content

Sellers offering music, recorded classes or written resources must confirm they hold the commercial rights. We may ask for proof before publication or payout.

Raising a claim

Send us the page address, the specific material, your identity and relationship to the work, and the basis of your claim. We review promptly and remove or restrict material where the claim is justified.
