Puerto Rico Bellydance Fusion Fest International is an annual belly dance festival based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, created by Karlos Khalil and presented by Estudio y Formación Actoral (EYFA). The festival combines belly dance, fusion styles, theatre, cultural exchange, workshops, competitions, haflas and staged gala performances. Its programming brings together Puerto Rican and international dancers while placing particular emphasis on fusion, artistic interpretation and the relationship between Middle Eastern dance traditions and Puerto Rican cultural identity. The first edition was held in 2023, and the festival has since expanded from a single main performance into a multi-day international event with workshops, competitions and guest artists.

The official 2026 programme includes a competition, international masterclasses, hafla and gala across three days. Confirmed instructors include Karlos Khalil, Oscar Flores and Angel Bellydance. The competition includes Classic Singles, Fusion Singles and Group categories.

2025 · 3-5 October 2025
Theme: “Borikén”
This edition focused strongly on the meeting between belly dance and Puerto Rican identity. It included a hafla bazaar, workshops, an international-style belly dance competition and a gala show. Programming incorporated belly dance fusion with Latin dance, reggaetón and Puerto Rican bomba, alongside more traditional oriental dance elements.
2024 · 25-27 October 2024
Theme: "Circus"
The second edition expanded the concept into a theatrical belly dance festival inspired by circus aesthetics. It included more than 25 local and international dancers, workshops, performances and a free pre-festival event. Main performances took place at Teatro Victoria Espinosa.
2023 · 28-29 October 2023
1st edition
The first edition included workshops on October 28 and the main Puerto Rico Bellydance Fusion Fest performance on October 29 at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. More than 25 dancers were announced, with traditional Arabic dance alongside modern fusion and theatrical elements from EYFA. Workshops included Classical Oriental, Tribal Fusion and Street Jazz.
