Yaël Zarca

Yaël Zarca discovered Oriental dance in 1999 and gradually developed it into an international professional career. Based in Paris, she became particularly associated with Egyptian-style Raqs Sharqi and refined musical interpretation. Over the years she has performed and taught in more than thirty countries. Her work combines live stage performance with intensive workshops and increasingly with online training. Yaël is known for an elegant, personal style rather than an approach centred primarily on athletic competition technique. Her longevity on the European festival circuit has made her one of France's established international Oriental dance teachers.
