Sharon Mesguich

Sharon Mesguich discovered Oriental dance in 1999 and built her artistic identity around a strong interest in Egyptian style. She studied extensively with major Egyptian teachers and developed an international performing and teaching career. In the early 2000s she founded her own dance school in southern France. She later created the Oriental Marathon Festival, which grew into a major European dance event. Her work combines professional stage performance with long-term community building and festival organisation, making her an important figure in the contemporary French Oriental dance scene.
