Sadie Marquardt

Sadie Marquardt became internationally famous for exceptionally precise isolations, percussion interpretation and technically demanding drum solos. She built a full-time professional career in the 2000s and eventually taught and performed in more than fifty countries. Her visibility expanded dramatically through viral online videos and an appearance on *America's Got Talent*. She has produced extensive instructional material and developed structured training programmes for dancers. Sadie's career illustrates how internet video transformed international belly-dance fame and made technical performers accessible to audiences far beyond the traditional festival circuit.
