Oscar Flores

Oscar Flores began his professional artistic career in Argentina in 1995 and has worked across dance, theatre and fashion for more than thirty years. His training is unusually broad and includes ballet, flamenco, Oriental dance, theatre and music. In 2001 he founded his first dance school before later moving to Buenos Aires and studying with major Argentine Oriental teachers including Amir Thaleb and Saida. Flores subsequently developed an international career as a dancer, choreographer, master instructor and artistic director. He now directs major educational and festival programmes and has built structured professional training resources through Orientalisimo Academy. His long career and interdisciplinary approach have made him one of the most influential male Oriental dance educators to emerge from Latin America.
