Mo Geddawi

Dr. Mo Geddawi developed his dance career in Egypt during the formative years of the Reda Troupe. He became connected with the company during its early history and gained extensive experience in Egyptian staged folklore. After relocating to Germany in the 1970s, he became an important bridge between Egyptian dance knowledge and the European Oriental dance community. His teaching has covered both Egyptian folklore and Raqs Sharqi while maintaining a strong emphasis on cultural and musical context. Decades of international teaching make him one of the most important male Egyptian master instructors outside Egypt.
