About

Biography

Melli Sarina is a German fusion dancer whose wider movement experience spans more than two decades. She began dance as a child and discovered Tribal Fusion as a teenager after encountering the work of artists such as Sharon Kihara. Her subsequent training drew heavily from the technical systems developed within the American fusion movement while gradually incorporating urban dance concepts. Melli became particularly associated with what she calls **Liquid Fusion**, blending belly-dance isolation technique with waving, fluidity and continuous movement pathways. She has developed an international teaching career while maintaining Augsburg as an important base for her work. Her style illustrates the evolution of European fusion beyond the original early-2000s Tribal aesthetic into a more contemporary movement vocabulary.
