Biography
Kaeshi Chai is a multidisciplinary dancer, teacher, choreographer, producer and designer. She co-founded Bellyqueen, a professional dance company and school that became internationally recognised for theatrical world-fusion performance. Chai also co-founded PURE, a global dance initiative focused on community, empowerment and social change. Her professional credits include Bellydance Superstars and Bellydance Evolution as well as extensive international performance and teaching. Her work is notable for connecting Oriental dance with live music, theatre, community projects and wider artistic production rather than limiting her identity to solo performance.
