Jasirah

Jasirah began belly dance in 2008 after approximately a decade of previous ballroom-dance experience. She developed rapidly into a professional performer and teacher and began appearing at events outside Poland. Over her career she has worked in more than twenty countries and has participated in major international theatrical projects, including Bellydance Evolution. Jasirah is also the founder and organiser of Poland's Raks Glam festival. Her teaching combines strong stage technique with choreography and professional performance preparation. Through both her international work and her festival, she has become an important contributor to the visibility of the Polish Oriental dance scene.
