Aziza of Montreal

Aziza began dance in early childhood and spent many years training in classical ballet before discovering Middle Eastern dance in 1988. She subsequently dedicated her professional life to Oriental dance and developed an international teaching and performing career. Aziza became known for fluid musicality, elegant technique and a stage style that combines classical Oriental movement with individual interpretation. She has taught extensively across North America, Europe, Asia and other regions. Her longevity and international influence make her one of the most recognised Canadian-based master teachers in the global belly-dance community.
