Ansuya Rathor

Ansuya Rathor was raised inside American belly-dance culture by her mother, dancer Jenaeni Rathor. She began performing at approximately four years old and developed a highly theatrical American Cabaret style. Her later career included Bellydance Superstars, television, film-related choreography and extensive international teaching. Ansuya also became an early adopter of online belly-dance instruction. Her improvisation, finger-cymbal work, expressive personality and blend of multiple movement influences made her one of the most recognisable American performers of her generation.
