Anna Chepets

Anna Chepets began belly dance at only eight years old and entered serious competition at a young age. She achieved notable results at Egypt's Ahlan Wa Sahlan festival over several consecutive years. Her technical development was so rapid that she began receiving international teaching invitations while still very young. Anna later established her own school and became involved in the organisation of Oriental dance events. Her career reflects the structured youth-training system found in Ukraine, where competitive Oriental dance can begin in childhood and develop into an international profession. After relocating to Canada, she has continued building an international teaching and performing career.
